How to choose a finish that still looks right in ten years
The finish decides how the building reads from the street, but it also decides how it ages. Three things matter more than the colour swatch itself.
- The coating, not the colour. A PVDF coating holds its colour for twenty years and more in Israeli sun. Polyester fades. This single difference is what separates a facade that still looks new after a decade from one that does not.
- Look at samples outdoors. Metallic finishes change completely between morning light and late afternoon, and showroom lighting flatters everything. We bring physical samples to site and look at them on the actual elevation.
- Batch consistency. Metallic finishes in particular can vary between production batches. On a large project we order in one batch and keep spare panels from it, so a future repair still matches.
